Stranger Things 2: teaser trailer and date confirmed!

Halloween. That is when we can expect to see “Stranger Things” return to Netflix for it’s second season. Halloween. I mean, that is a long time to wait. Like practically most of the year. But, just to calm us before we start to panic about what we are going to do with ourselves until then, those lovely people at Netflix did give us a little teaser during the Super Bowl infamous ad breaks.

The Stranger Things 2 Super Bowl ad features footage from a classic Eggo commercial which aired in the 1980s.

Stranger Things 2 picks up a year after Will’s return (the perfect way to focus on a cast of quickly growing children). Where, everything seems back to normal, but a darkness is lurking just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins.

“The world is turning upside down” according to the trailer. The boys are dressed as Ghostbusters. Are they taking the superhero thing literally, or are they just simply going trick or treating? This trailer certainly throws up some questions for what we can expect from season 2, and it looks pretty awesome.
