Often with films with explicit scenes we never get to see the full directors cut because by the time it gets to the BBFC for its audience rating scenes need to be cut for it to make an 18 or 15 certificate. But that isn’t the case with next week’s eagerly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey. The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) have passed the film for an 18 certificate with no cuts. With 20 minutes of sex, it is being dubbed the raunchiest mainstream film of the decade.
So, with 11 days and counting to its release will that mean there is a bigger, or smaller queue to see it at the cinema?
