I’ve spent the bank holiday weekend enjoying London and reminding myself what an amazing city it is I live in. There is so much to see and do here. I spent my Bank Holiday Morning down on Southbank, enjoying the Spanish Food Festival, the Southbank Centre roof garden bar and then watching the sunset across the city from the Oxo Tower.
But beyond that, there are always so many things to do. Staying south of the river and a little further East you have The O2. You can take the cable car across the river to get there to make the journey more fun, eat and drink at a wide variety of restaurants (T.G.I. Friday’s is my favourite), see an exhibition and then enjoy a show. I’ve been to a few shows there, including Russell Brand, Michael Buble and Batman Live. One upcoming event that is worth seeing is Little Mix.
I recently saw Little Mix at Twickenham when they opened up for the Wasps match over the Easter weekend. I was also lucky enough to see them perform live in the final of X Factor. They are a great British female girl group and are doing brilliantly all over the world.
Little Mix perform at the O2 on 25 May, you can book your tickets here.
