What a super hero filled day – Superman and Captain America news!

In the mist of my busy work day, I did manage to stumble across two exciting pieces of news. I opened them, probably around 11am and have now finally taken the time to read and explore them. The first is an image from the upcoming Captain America 2 has been released by Marvel (see above). This image was released as Marvel announced that filming on the sequel – The Winter Soldier, had begun today. They also released this brief synopsis on the film:

“Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.”

So not much to reveal, other than the fact that he won’t be working alone as Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johansson) will be teaming up with him (as she did with Iron Man prior to Avengers Assemble).

The other exciting news is that Man of Steel’s trailer is finally moving from the big screen and online to a TV spot. You can see the newly edited trailer below.
