American Horror Story: Asylum season 2 premiere review

Well American Horror story knows how to keep you watching (or hiding behind a pillow in my case). The series returned with a new setting and a few familiar faces from the first season playing different roles. American Horror Story: Asylum opened with Welcome to Briarcliff’ in which we see the new setting for the show, currently a ‘haunted house’ we see Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5, with his new wife taking a ghostly tour of the house (and some steamy newlywed sex) and you know that something is going to go wrong.

The majority of the episode is set in the sixties when the house was at its prime as an insane asylum and is run by Sister Jude played by the brilliant Jessica Lange. There is also a bit of alien abduction in it too – as if ghosts wasn’t enough! Really, if you thought the last series was scary, you ain’t seen nothing yet!

I can’t wait to see what this show has got to give…large cushion is at the ready!
