Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23 review

Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23 (or Apartment 23 as it seems to be called to avoid the no swearing in promo rules of American TV – I’m just assuming this following last year’s Shit My Dad Says) is a show that I’ve been looking forward to since I heard about it last summer. I’m a big fan of Krysten Ritter as an actress, so I was looking forward to seeing her in a regular sitcom, in particular playing a bitchy character.

This is funny, adult humour – hence the complaints the show has been getting from a few parents who may have mistakenly let their kids watch it. This show still has to find its feet I think but it has potential. One key stand out from this show is James Van Der Beek playing a self loving version of himself and Chloe’s (Ritter) straight gay best friend. Expect to hear Dawson’s Creek quotes, theme tune and much more as he can’t shake off the fans’ love of Dawson, Pacey, et al.

I recommend checking this show out, especially if you like something more grown up and a little bitchy and reliving your love of Dawson’s Creek.
