Last week I reported that Michael Rosenbaum would not be returning to Smallville’s final season. Well you can put those tissues away as Michael has agreed to return to the final episode especially for the fans!!! Fans flocked to the story that was first announced on EW stating how angry and upset they were that the should would end without Clark’s bog rival Lex Luthor. Many fans were angry that Rosenbaum had turned his back on the show that made him a star. Apart from seeing Tom Welling don the infamous suit, Lex Luthor’s return was also a top request from fans for the season finale.

“I can’t wait to hug the old crew back in Vancouver one last time and see all of my old friends once again,” Rosenbaum said.

I am even more excited about the season finale now than I ever was!!!
